Hoopsters Helps Youth Basketball Programs

For the second year in a row, D.K. Hoopsters was proud to help out in the community by providing portable goals free of charge for three sets of basketball camps in Albuquerque this summer. Camps used the goals so campers could spend more time practicing and less time waiting in the gyms.

UNM Lobos basketball head coach Steve Alford hosted shooting camps, individual skills camps, and a team skills camp in June at the Pit and the Rudy Davalos Basketball Center.

Indiana Pacer and former Lobo Danny Granger hosted a camp at the Lobos' practice facility Aug. 1-3.

D.K. Hoopsters staff made a fast turnaround for A.J. Bramlett's camp at Tony Hillerman Middle School, which started one day after Danny's camp. AJ's camp also featured Jason Terry of the Dallas Mavericks.
